Schade is inspired by the transitory shift between the 80’s and 90’s where trends evolved from bold and oversized silhouettes to narrower and slim shapes which prevalently defined the culture of the times. The design features a narrowed overall width, which exudes a confident but gentle edge, and is constructed with varying degrees of angular curves that add a deeper overall characteristic. A pyramid array of silver rivets are found on each side which securely attach the body to the arms, adding a distinct visual touch that is also exemplary of the highly detailed craft involved in designing and producing each frame. Finished with dyed lenses with anti-reflective and anti-scratch finishes, and 12mm high acetate nose pads for improved stability and grip.
